PARAMUS RUNotes...
Since 1979, runners and walkers have been coming to
Paramus on the third Sunday in October to enjoy the
beautiful fall weather,  participate in one of the most runner focused events of the year, and help young people succeed through the Paramus Scholarship Fund.
The 2005 Run marked the first without co-founders,
Terri and Marty Roemer. Their contributions are sorely
missed, of course. But the Run was still able to donate that year more
than $21,000 in scholarships. That brought the Run's overall scholarship donations to more than $400,000.
Those of you who've enjoyed the post race runners' party over
the years won't be disappointed. It'll be back and
better than ever. And the on-course race clocks, which
pleased everyone on the all-new courses last year, will be back too!
The Run Committee wants to thank all of the race sponsors,
whose contributions enable the Terri Roemer Paramus Run to
remain at the top of the fall road race schedule in northern
New Jersey. And special thanks to the businesses whose
donations make the annual runners' gift-pack a success as well.
We're looking forward to seeing you on October 18th!
